Some plants always transport us to hot, exotic locations in our imaginations, so visit the nursery and soak up some sun.

Trachycarpus palms are available up to 6/7mts to create an oasis in your garden, along with Chamaerops Humilis and Butia. Complemented by Cordylines in multi stems or multi heads they are great as stand-alone specimens or in groups and avenues. A rustler favourite is the time-aged knurled trunk and succulent blue-green foliage of majestic olive trees, available from young to the very old, connecting us to centuries long ago.

Create an instant Italian vista with pencil cypress and umbrella pines, throw in a good measure of agaves, yuccas and sharp Dasylirion and soon the mirage is complete, coming alive before you.
